You're girlfriend needs to stop drinking and you need to stop fighting her ridiculous fights for her. Sounds like you need a new girlfriend, period. Do not let her buy anymore malt liquor. That's probably half the reason she's 265lbs. Get her to clean up her act, you don't deserve that.
Light beers won't necessarily cause her to become less drunk... she'll just have to drink more of them to get to the same level... and she probably will because she has a drinking problem. Malt liquor appeals to blossoming alcoholics who find it cheaper to buy a 40 of malt liquor over a pack of beer. Get her help.

LMAO, you poor thing. Maybe let her get her hiney kicked one time and see if she still wants to start fights. She is a big girl and she thinks this makes her tough, but this isnt always the case. She sounds like a real winner. Maybe yoyu should consider finding someone a little classier, that isnt a lush. You sure will be happier not getting your hiney kicked all the time. Either that or invest in karate lessons, and take her to them also, so you can start winning some of these fights.LOL

ok talk about fat and skinny!...I'm not dissing because I am fat too but the real problem here is...dude she's drinking a 12 pack....can you say AA?! why would you want to be with her...I mean I know love is deaf, dumb and blind but come on!! ...you need some self esteem lessons and a backbone to stand up to her and either tell her she needs help or you're leaving...unless you drink that much too but you're not a bad drunk..like maybe a happy drunk...but a drunk is a drunk...what's her problem..besides overweight...alcoholic and someone who needs a reality check...a good diet...and some anger management....a lighter beer does not mean less alcohol necessarily....it still has booze in it...you guys need to be in a different atmosphere...like away from liquor stores and bars....I mean does she drink 12 cans of soda a day?....that is nasty ...so obviously 12 of anything is too much....stop helping her out....because in the long run you're not....you're adding to it...it's called enabling...not good....and does she know how much salt (bad for heart and gaining weigt) and how many calories is in that cra*?! good luck..but if she's not willing change you need to leave this situation...get working on yourself and realize you can and will get someone better

Not that there is anything wrong with drinking..but this girls got a problem. light beers don't exactly have a lower alcohol content...if she likes the taste of beer so much..but you don't want her to get drunk you can try O'Douls. Good luck Mate..you'll need it.

Don't take this the wrong way, but your girlfriend is an alcoholic. It doesn't matter what kind of alcohol she drinks, she will drink to the point of getting into that state, because she has a problem. AND YOU CANT FIX IT. She must first realize that she has a problem before it can be addressed. Even after she admits it, it could be years before she decides to tackle the problem.(maybe never) So, after you express your concern (if you choose to) you have two choices:
1. Accept her the way she is, and dont try to control her (because you will only get back drama, empty promises and heartache. ) If you choose this, you cant complain, because you are CHOOSING this. ( you could try al-anon. This group is for anyone living with an alcoholic....how not to lose your mind)
2. Ask her to get help, and leave or break up with her if she doesnt. ( And stick to your guns) If you think you can control an alcoholic, you are wrong. You cant. Could you control a heroin addict? Convince them to quit with your words? Its the SAME thing.
Good luck....and quit trying to bail her out of these fights. If she is bent on self destruction, why go down with her? ONLY SHE CAN HELP HERSELF. Sorry to deliver bad news.

in line with danger you may attempt talking to her relating to the way she acts and if she isn't prepared to make some variations to strengthen herself for the greater efficient, you may make an effort different than for her and make confident that's relatively the form of relationship you prefer to be in. even regardless of the undeniable fact that maximum women might say her guy could upward thrust up for her, on your case, i might disagree because of fact she is soliciting for issue while she brings liquor together with her to a eating place. I woudn't be leaping into any fights because of fact of her movements.

Dude, the lightest beer in the world isn't going to solve any of those problems.

1.Stop going to bars.

2. Hit the gym...the both of you.

3. Seek professional help

4. Go back to school and get your degree.....the both of you.

come on....are you serious? Lite beers aren't light in ALCOHOL content...they are light in calories. I think you need a new girlfriend too. But I think this is actually some kind of joke. A 6'3 man who weighs 135 would look like a concentration camp victim!

Try beers like sparks, tilt, and coolers...but the best thing would be for her not to drink so much...
