like the banana is green and then you put it in the fridge and the next day it is ripe

and is it tue if you put it in a brown paper bag it will become ripe?? if it is, why??

They also get ripe if you don't put them in the refrigerator. In fact they get ripe slower in the refrigerator. That's why some people keep them in the refrigerator - to keep them fresh longer.

They don't, they just turn brown but they're not ripe. Just like tomatoes, you're not suppose to put bananas in the fridge.

You can store bananas in the refrigerator if you want to keep them for a longer time. However, the peel of this tropical fruit will darken. But the banana inside will remain firm and delicious.
I sometimes keep mine in the fridge, because I like them cold.

The banana in the fridge stays fresh longer, it is just the skin that turns brown.

You are not supposed to put Bananas in the re-frig, they will ripen in ordinary temperature, after all they do not grow in low temperature.
