find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Protein and fiber keep you feeling full.
Also, eating 5 - 6 mini meals through out the day will help. You might be hungry at first, but soon your body will adapt to eating smaller portions several times a day.

hey, well i heard that its better for your stomach and your metabolism if you have small meals often instead of 3 big ones.
so an example would be
cereal for breakfast
sandwich for lunch
and a plate of pasta or something like that for dinner.
in between just snack on fruits and vegetables and drink water and juice (no soft drinks)
try it out for a few days if you want and you'll see that you will be satisfied with less food, and if its healthy if will make your body strong and get rid of the fat.

i would go on a low carb diet such as the south beach diet , and also watch your caloric intake ...go to calorie count.com it has a great free weight loss community, im on it right now i need to lose too who doesnt!!! im trying cutting out all rice and just eating fish and vegtables and small amounts of brown rice, it always works pretty well. good luck.
