DId they use the word "Chiari" (pronounced key are ee)?
That means that part of the brain is located in the upper part of the spinal canal.

I won't go into the details - but if you want more info about Chiari, look at the link below.

Let me know if you need more info!

I think she is talking about fluids. I have been a neurological patient for some time. Wait until you hear from the specialists before you even begin to get concerned, and even then I would get a second opinion. All doctors need to learn how to communicate more clearly. Recently, my doctor told me I had a mass at the base of my skull. Then she paused and followed up by saying there are "good" as well as "bad" masses. Turns out mine is good. Long story, short version: I ended up having another doctor speak with her to make sure that what I heard was correct. Best wishes, I know how difficult it is to hear these things and absorb the news.

I've never heard of this, but then again I'm not a neurologist. If you are seeing a doctor he is definitely the best person to speak to for advice.
Sorry I can't be more help, but this site is soooo not the place to get medical advice from any person clever enough to operate a keyboard.
Good luck and I hope it all works out ok.

Doctors are great at giving you just enough information to worry and not enough to fully explain things!!!. I am sure that if it was very serious they would have asked you to come back asap. Try not to worry and keep bugging your doctor to get a proper explanation!

I've never heard of it, however, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Put it in God's hands and do your best not to worry.
