Iogical or illogical?

No no, the logical CONCLUSION. It's not a choice for me. It's not like I chose to know that the god concept is logically impossible. It's like asking you whether acknowledging the falseness of "2+2=79" is logical or illogical. The only logical conclusion is to say "it's false". It's not a choice because it IS false. That's all there is to it.

As you can see, logic has nothing to do with most of these people's predujices. What alot, if not all, of these people fail to realize is that evidence has many different definitions, and what counts for evidence in science is going to differ substantially from what counts as evidence in, say, historical and textual analysis, hermeneutics, semantics, etc.
It is pointless to even try and reason with most of these people because they simply cannot grasp such matters. That is painfully evident in many of the sorely misquoted and misinterpreted attempts they've posted in here concerning the bible. For example, a while back some clown actually tried to persuade me that the bible forbid the Israelites to eat "four-legged birds". I'm not kidding!! This guy couldn't have been any more wrong than if he tried to be!!! And the thing about the "talking snake"? That has been covered and explained more than adequately, yet they still post their moronic questions and comments about it, so in the end it's probably just better to ignore their nonsense, because it's obvious all they're here for is to bait and act like trolls. No Christian needs science to assure them that 2+2 does not equal 27, and the implication or assumption by an atheist that they do is evidence enough that atheist has no understanding of logic or common sense.

What kind of logic is that?

I take it you have not read the Holy Bible. But before you make any quick decisions consider this. Even without reading the Bible, one should be able to know that there is a higher power than man.

I know I did not slink out of some swamp and grow hands and feet. I know I did not evolve from monkeys. I know I was created not by chance but by the hand of God.

All one has to do is look at nature and all around you to recognize that God created all things.

sure there are lots of issues, but God did NOT create the issues, man did.

If you want to be logical about this subject, then you better start using some logic rather than being a fool and believing something that cannot be true.

If you seek Him, He will find you.

Sounds logical to me: My parents were religious (unintelligent) and I came from them (intelligent).

BOO YA!

Seems you do not understand how order comes from complexity. You are using what is called an argument from ignorance. Problem is, YOU are the ignorant one, not me. So, you cant convince me with your illogical wit.

I am a fan of logic. If you can see a building you know there was a builder. If you see a painting, then you know there was a painter. If you see order, then you know there was an order-er. If there is a law, then you know there will be an enforcer. If you look around at this world, then you can know that there is a GOD. This God is going to be our judge one day. Will you be found innocent or guilt one the day of judgment?

If that's the question, then where did the "intelligence" that MADE the intelligence come from?

S'right: order may arise from disorder in a closed system, PROVIDED that it is driven by enough energy.

In the case of our brains, it took 4 BILLION YEARS of the sun's output, at over 1kw on every square metre of the earth.

To those who understand complex systems this is not an issue. We understand how local complexity results from variance and selection. The argument from ignorance is only effective if one is sufficiently ignorant and I am not.

You do not understand how complexity comes about so you think it must be a god. That is not logic, that is a logical fallacy: "The argument from ignorance". It does not work on me. I am insufficiently ignorant.
