I asked my mom what we should do and she does not know and I have just fallen in love with two of them and I think I am going to sneak a couple in my room and find homes for them so they do not get hit. How long do you think it will take me to find them a home? How do I take care of them without my mom knowing, I have lots of dog food for little dogs, and moist food and I could keep it in my room I wish I could help all of them WHAT DO I DO!!!!!! They are just Puppies!!

You heart is in the right place, but I think it would be best if you found a rescue group in your area that could help you.

Ok. first thing is your Mom will know right away so there is no sense sneaking them into your room. Ask your Mom permission. Tell her you want to try to find these puppies a home. I don't know where you live but if you search on the internet for Beagal Rescue they can help you out. They will come and pick up the puppies (if they have the room) and foster them out to new homes. When you talk to them let them know that these dogs are getting killed. Also search for the ASPCA for your state. Contact their main headquaters and tell them that your local shelter refuses to pick up these animals. You can also put up fliers at your grocery store and other stores in your town advertising the puppies. If you know who the puppies belong to make sure you also tell that to the ASPCA so that you can report cruelty against these puppies. Good luck to you. I hope they all find new homes.

Did you actually try Animal Control? I'm pretty sure the SPCA won't be able to do much, but Animal Control is supposed to control the critters.

I can't tell you how long it will take for you to find homes for the dogs, especially good homes. I wouldn't advise sneaking them into your room though: They would have to be house-trained in a hurry, if you don't want to deal with a mess. And they would need to be fed.

Good luck.

Ask your mom if she would mind if you took the doggies in, bathed them and ran an ad in the paper to sell them to good homes. You may need to take them to a vet to be sure they are healthy but maybe if mom sees that you can make money from helping them she may change her tune. Your vet may even give you a break if you let them know you are taking these stray dogs in and finding them homes. Talk with the vet about helping you to offer the new "mom and dad" an inexpensive spay certificate with the new addition to their homes.
These dogs do not have a chance without someone like you to help them so, whatever it takes, do it!

If you can send one to me I'll take one. I live in Florida. I have no money to buy one but if their friendly I've been begging for a dog.

I would call a humane society, or a shelter that a no kill. If they dont get homes by a certain time they put them down.

Go on craigslist for your area post puppies and dogs. Free or not you could make money but I want a free one for the idea. hahaha...

Yahoo search animal aide they may be able to help you.

Aww, poor puppies, there has to be a rescue centre that can help... I don't think you'll be ble to keep them a secret from your mum if they're in the house because they tend to howl and make a lot of noise. Have you thought about making signs to put up warning people to drive carefuly until you can arrange to have them picked up? If you make them so they stand out people will be more aware they should watch out as normal people wouldn't want to hurt them.

First, You can't hide a dog in the house. Somebody will notice. Talk to your mom and get permission to hold onto them and find them homes. Look up rescue groups on the net and see if they can help.

Well...
First, you should talk to the shelter about why they will not take the dogs in . Try to reason with them.
Then, if you must, take in a few until there old enough to roam or have had their pups. Please ask your mother first though!!
Next, you could simply leave food and shelter out for them.
Also, you should try bringing the dogs into town and ask around to see if anyone can take them in- even for just a while.
I think it will take a week or so though.

It's good to see someone worried and trying to do something about it! Keep up the good work!!

That is horrible. Try to catch them and see if your mom will drive you to the shelter and you can drop them off so they can find homes for them. I dont think she will object to that since you are wanting to help them. I wouldnt sneak them into your room though. Better to have your mom help you save all of them than sneak and save a couple. Good luck and good for you for trying to help the poor puppies, that just makes me sick that they are out there!

Good for you for wanting to do something responsible! Ask your mom to help you and make this an imortant project to work on together.
Seek out local officials and ask them for help.
Ask your local shelter what they will do to help you.

Call your local TV stations and contact your local newspaper and ask them if they might help by taking action in some way.
