Hadith and islamic books tells us a story. Once a man wanted the proof of Allah and asked prophet Muhammed (pbuh) to split the moon into two parts.Muhammed (pbuh) prayed to Allah and Allah granted his prayer and did so. The man was amazed by seeing that. Two parts joined back but the crack in middle remained.
one more source says that there is always a sound of athan (islamic call for prayer) is heard in the moon.
Then Neill armstrong, the first human being to step on the moon, found in the moon that there is crack in the middle of the moon and heard a kind of sound he couldn't understand. when he came back and he found that it was mentioned by islam before. and when he went to Egypt once, he heard athan and asked his muslim frnd what's that, that's the same sound that he heard in the moon. the frnd said that's athan. then he converted to Muslim. and then western media hid him behind media so that people can not know what islam is.

Now wht hav u got to say?
sensible answers please

many people believe the moon landing was staged...but I doubt Neil Armstrong said anything remotely close to what you just said he did.

Perhaps because he was the first man on the Moon, there have been a number of odd stories and legends that have surrounded Armstrong over the years. An audio clip circulates on the Internet that purports to be the censored recording NASA never wanted the world to hear, where Armstrong reports the presence of “anomalous” objects at the Sea of Tranquillity landing site. Critics of these recordings have debunked them as fake, citing such irregularities as poor sound quality on Houston’s end while the astronauts sound fine. That is exactly the reverse of the way a legitimate recording would sound, since the recordings would be recorded on Earth. Houston would also never end a communication with the word “Roger”, using the word “copy” instead.

There was also a rumour in circulation that Armstrong had converted to Islam. It’s difficult to track down the source of the rumour, but it may have originated in comments uttered by Armstrong in a different context. The story goes that Armstrong heard the Muslim call to prayer while on the Moon, and upon hearing it later on Earth, promptly converted to Islam. Added to the confusion is that Armstrong’s official mailing address is in Lebanon, Ohio. Armstrong has several times respectfully but firmly attempted to correct the impression that he has converted to Islam.

A sensible answer would first require a sensible question.

It would be scientifically impossible for Neil Armstrong to hear a "crack" on the moon; and whether or not he found any fissures in moon rock are no proof of the moon splitting. It is impossible for sound to travel through space, as there is no air in space for it to travel through.

You're also basing your premise on non-believers "believing" your little story on whether they also believe in the teachings of Islam and the Quran; which, typically, "non-believers" don't. Isn't that what makes them a non-believer in the first place?

Oh, and if what you're claiming Armstrong heard on the moon was the call to prayer... yeah. I don't think so. There are no minarets on the moon, any more than there are old tone-deaf mean caterwauling from a loudspeaker from aforementioned imaginary minaret. Even if there were--he still couldn't hear it, being that there's no atmosphere on the moon and therefore no sound.

Ain't science a *****?

LOL @ you.

Sound doesnt travel inside a vacuum, which happens to be the surface of the moon. Sound waves cannot travel in a vacuum. Therefore, your entire story is nothing more than that - a story, lies designed to convince people with little education that Allah is real.

Try again.

"Among the many rumors circulating in the Islamic world, the claim that Neil Armstrong, the famous Astronaut, has become a Muslim seems to be one that will never die.

Hopefully, the following statement will help to put this claim at rest. Neil Armstrong participated in the Global Leadership Forum in Malaysia on 6 September 2005. The Star Malaysia, currently the most widely read English newspaper in Malaysia, took the occasion to interview him on his moon landing mission with Apollo 11. In the article, Armstrong recalls moon landing, published on 7 September 2005, both in print and online, one finds this statement:

Armstrong, 75, also denied he had heard the Muslim call to prayer on the moon and had converted to Islam."

That quote took me about three seconds to find with a search engine. Im afraid youve fallen for a hoax perpatrated upon the Muslim community.

On August 27, 2003, at 9:51:13 UT, Mars made its closest approach to Earth in nearly 60,000 years: 55,758,006 km (approximately 35 million miles). This occurred when Mars was one day from opposition and about three days from its perihelion, making Mars particularly easy to see from Earth. The last time it came so close is estimated to have been on September 12, 57,617 BC., the next time being in 2287. However, this record approach was only very slightly closer than other recent close approaches. For instance, the minimum distance on August 22, 1924 was 0.37284 AU, compared to 0.37271 AU on August 27, 2003, and the minimum distance on August 24, 2208 will be 0.37278 AU.[57]

The orbital changes of Earth and Mars are making the approaches nearer: the 2003 record will be bettered 22 times by the year 4000.

Never heard that before. Got any hard proof that Neil Armstrong heard an athan. Let's see, cracks in the Moon? Probably quite a few.

Here is my sensible answer. It's utter nonsense, and barely even worth consideration. Putting aside the fact that sound on the moon is an impossibility...

"When this story reached fever pitch, and we were inundated with calls and letters from around the world, we contacted Armstrong's office in Ohio. This writer personally spoke to his secretary, who revealed that although Mr Armstrong had great respect for Islam, he had not become a Muslim and that the adhan story was pure fiction. She also said that the many calls and letters from Muslims from different parts of the world had intrigued her. She in fact offered to send a letter confirming our conversation and even requested that we publicise the facts to put the affair to rest.

Armstrong's secretary did write to us confirming that her boss had not embraced Islam."

I read another bloke on the Internet - a Muslim - who also reckoned he could prove the disbelievers wrong. He said listen to your heart; apparently it says "allah hu" (God is real). In my own experience the human heart generally goes "ber-dumph", but sometimes people will hear what they want to hear. Did any of the other astronauts report hearing the Islamic call for prayer while they were on the moon? Nope. Didn't think so.

I've never heard of Neil Armstrong finding a crack in the moon and then hearing some kind of sound. What's your source?

that story proves what Islam is...? Now Im more confused
about what islam is. What is Islam again?

Jesus the ultimate sacrifice of God the Father was prophesied about many times in the old testament bible.

and He taught us that the Father sent him so that we would have an example to follow what Jesus did! believe He is the Son of Man to be saved

Mo-ham-mad! taught you>> besides spitting on the moon to hate, hate and kill for Allah sake.
Lets follow Jesus teaching to Love God with all our heart, mind and strength. why do you say "pbuh" he is already dead and there is no Peace in Hell, Blessing will not help Unto Him now, I pray for you with love to you......jen

What have I to say? What a load of crap, is what I have to say. The only sound that Armstrong or anyone ever heard on the moon was that of their own breathing, the sounds made by their space suits, and radio communications. There is no air on the moon to carry sound. There is no truth to your assertion that he found a "crack in the middle of the moon", either. And as for western media hiding him, that is also not true. He hides himself, by his own choice, to avoid media attention! I guess it isn't only the christian fundies who are willing to tell outright lies to bolster their ridiculous faith in a sky fairy.
