Folk music, English or American. Go back to the sisxties -a big folk revival. Bob Dylan - Blowin' in the Wind, Tambourine Man. Donovan - Catch the Wind. John Denver - Leavin' on a Jet Plane, Country Roads. etc. etc. etc. The list is endless. Even American Pie sounds good acoustically. Hope this helps.

Sounds like your new to this. Try Arlo Guthries " Alices Resturaunt" and the classic "Stairway To Heaven". Alices Resturaunt is a real challenge to the newer players. Open your eyes. Don't just learn the music you listen to mostly. Learn anything that will enhance you chops. This often requires learning things that you don't normally listen to, but you can really benefit from this.
