I have seen this in a lot of movies ect. So I was wondering if anyone has really ever prayed to get laid and what the results were.

I save prayer for the important stuff, like the lottery.

Not specifically, but when I was a lot younger and still a christian I did pray to get a girlfriend. Getting laid was of course part of the reason for a wanting a girlfriend.
Unless you are talking about laid paper.... Then I would just go into a stationery shop and buy some.

Its not a prayer God is going to answer. However, if you are a christian, you can pray for a wifey or hubby, as that is for most people a need.
I prayed to win the lottery many times .. but that is not a prayer God is going to answer. However, I can ask to have my financial and so on needs met.
Basically anything that is a need, and also nice things that would bless us (God is a loving and generous Father it says in James and other places) , we can ask for. The promises in the Word will cover this, but we need faith when we pray. We can ask for things that are bad for us, and God won't answer - frustrating, I know.

God does not answer prayers where the one praying seeks to sate a fleshly desire outside the realm of living by faith.
I did have a friend once who was bemoaning the fact that he got laid off from work, to which I said, "God just misunderstood your prayer." It was pretty funny.

I have to admit that I have done so,but to no avail. Lesson learned was, The universe/god is not going to help one out on that issue. I am sure there are some people out there that are the exception to the rule. But for me It dose not work.

Just a thought.... If you pray for something that isn't in accordance with God's Will, especially if it is in direct opposite to it, it probably wont be answered by God. At least not the way you think you want it to be answered.
