Very good question. Why wouldn't our Awesome God give his creations the ability to evolve in order to adapt to the living conditions. kudos...keep us thinking.

I would prefer to say the Bible was written by Men inspired by God. I think the same goes for a lot of scientific discoveries, that they were indeed inspired by God. I could go on about this, yet I think a brilliant and decorated scientist, who was (gasp) a Christian said it best in the pages attached hereto.
I don't think that creation and evolution are mutually exclusive. As long as God is the author I have full faith and confidence in it.

The bible states that the earth was created in 6 days (24 hour days, see source). Therefore, the age of the earth is much younger than evolution would lead you to believe. Some Christians have assume incorrectly that the 6 days of creation were long time periods in order to justify evolution and creation combined. More evidence supports a young earth, therefore negating evolution.

Then that would deny free will because God would be forcing them to make those scientific discoveries despite not letting the scientists make that choice.
God is an idea, Evolution is a theory.

the concept that each and every one printed actuality is to be found in "sixty six books" is not basically no longer in Scripture, that's contradicted by Scripture (a million Corinthians 11:2, 2 Thessalonians 2:15, 2 Thessalonians 3:6, a million Timothy 3:15, 2 Peter a million:20-21, 2 Peter 3:16). that's a theory outstanding contained in the former testomony, the position the authority of those who sat on the Chair of Moses (Matthew 23:2-3) existed. besides to this, for 400 years, there replaced into no defined canon of "Sacred Scripture" with the exception of the former testomony; there replaced into no "New testomony"; there replaced into in ordinary words custom and non-canonical books and letters. Protestants declare the Bible is the in ordinary words rule of religion, that signifies that it contains each and every of the textile one needs for theology and that this textile is satisfactorily clean that one does no longer want apostolic custom or the Church’s magisterium (practise authority) to help one realize it. contained in the Protestant view, the completed of Christian actuality is got here upon interior the Bible’s pages. some thing extraneous to the Bible is basically non-authoritative, unnecessary, or incorrect—and can want to sidestep one in coming to God. Catholics, on the different hand, note of that the Bible does no longer recommend this view and that, in truth, that's repudiated in Scripture. the authentic "rule of religion"—as expressed contained in the Bible itself—is Scripture plus apostolic custom, as manifested contained in the living practise authority of the Catholic Church, to that were entrusted the oral teachings of Jesus and the apostles, alongside with the authority to interpret Scripture wisely.

Evolution is not the answer that is in the Bible. Creation is taught from the beginning of the Bible through the end. Evolution has not been proven through science. Quite the contrary, science has not been able to prove evolution. Where is the bone trail from the fish, to the mutant fish that are coming out of the ocean, where is the half fish-half human, where is the half ape-half human bone trail, where are the missing links? There are many many missing links that have never been found. They have found dinosaur bones from thousands to millions of years ago but never one bone from a mutant fish. HMMMM. There is no scientific evidence at all that has ever been found. (Because there is not a bone trail) We were created, not formed from fish.

Evolution is a subterfuge and sham. It can be demonstrated that variation and selection occur within a species, but the notion that this gave rise to all species is pure balderdash. You simply can not believe evolution and remain logically consistent with the account of creation in Genesis.
