Forget Al Gore. He has absolutely nothing to do with the solid science that supports global warming.
The scientific data:

summarized at:

The opinion of the scientific community, less a (very) few skeptics:

Do you think this guy gets his information from Al Gore?
"Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich challenged fellow conservatives Tuesday to stop resisting scientific evidence of global warming"

Global warming is a reality but not as urgent as lit al wants us to think. Remember this is the guy who claimed he started the Internet. Gore should not even be in office let alone president. There are not many people who take him seriously. He thinks that the American people are as stupid as he.

You must remember, anything that happens is caused by global warming so there will never be a time when they will look back and see anything but global warming.
Look at polar bears, there are 10 times more polar bears today than there were in the 70s. yet they keep claiming the numbers are shrinking. But even if they admit there are more its global warming and its bad.
The weather is getting cooler but its still global warming.
We had allot of storms a couple of years ago, from global warming. these last two years we've had less than 2% as many. But global warming is still to blame.
If the weather changes it's global warming.
If the weather doesn't change it's global warming.
If the weather changes fast it's global warming.
If the weather changes slow it's global warming.
The new thing is not to call it global warming any more because it's been so cold, they are now trying to call it climate change.
And as a side note if CO2 held the heat from the sun and warmed the earth then by the same logic it would not allow the suns heat to reach earth in the first place.

Al Gore has pored more study time into these matters than one realizes. And it was for his own personal agenda, so he has no reason to slant anything. He's met with scientists all over the world and visited different regions. He may be credited (someday) for single-handedly saving the world!
Do your own research and draw your own conclusions. One poster said the polar bear population is up from the 70's? We've lost about 28% of the polar bear population in the last 15 years. The mothers are having less cubs, and every polar bear is about 50 lighter then what their average should be.
Anyone who thinks they're going to look back and laugh at Al Gore will have to do so from another planet if we don't make drastic changes NOW.

he's not going to have to change his position. In ten years he will say that he help fix global warming. Then he'll run for president because he saved us from GW. And all his sheep will go, "BAAAA" while he stands over them talking.

What makes you think anyone is going to look back and laugh at the GW alarmists. After all, which side has all the scientific evidence, over 100 years of research, the backing of every single government on the planet, an agreement from every credible scientific organisation bar one and an overwhelming consensus that they're correct. Everything is on the sids of the 'alarmists', the best the skeptics can produce is weak arguments based on opinions.
If I'm wrong please include one link (that's all) to a credible scientific study that shows global warming to be false.
