I am taking a sociology class this summer and it was mentioned in discussion the various versions of heaven throughout the different theologies.
I was wondering if anyone knows what the differences are between Christians, Hindus, Muslims, Jews, Pagans, Wiccans, and any faith I have left out in their expectation of the afterlife.?
Also, what are the differences between what men expect versus what women expect.?
Consider this a social question rather than simply what you believe as I am hoping to gain insight into various religions if you will.

*Just to clarify, its not homework, I just found it fascinating how some faiths expect women to serve men in heaven or to go to a seperate heaven while in others it is gender neutral. Just looking for discussion.

Man & woman will not serve each other, but love and serve God.
By his death and resurrection, Jesus Christ has opened heaven to us. He makes partners in his heavenly glorification those who have believed in him and remained faithful to his will.
In the glory of heaven the blessed continue joyfully to fulfill God's will in relation to others and to all creation. Already they reign with Christ; with him "they shall reign for ever and ever." SS ( Catholic)
