Go to www.girlscouts.org Click on the Find A Council button. Search for councils in areas where you would like to work. Most Girl Scout councils now have websites where they advertise various positions, including camp counselors. While most camps will have filled their camp staff positions for this summer, there may be some who are still looking.

Even if you can't find a position now, send in your resume and let them know you are willing to work when they have openings. It would be a great idea to work in a part-time program position or be a Girl Scout volunteer to get your foot in the door.

Thank you for caring about Girls!

You don't say how old you are or when you left the Scouts. If you wanted to become a counsler you have to contact the nearest Office of the Girl Scout Council for your area and see if they need counslers for this year. YOu might also consider going back to the scouts and finishing. I'm not sure what level you would be on wether it would be Cadettes or Seniors but it can be a lot of fun at that age because you get to do a lot of things that the younger ones don't get to do. Also it looks good on school appllications becasue The Scouts are and organzation that everyone looks favorable on.

Yes, call the camp closest to where you live, they will probably give you a number to call; or they will give you all the neccessary information that you would need. Sounds like a great idea! Good luck!
