The history of those times and the relation of the Jews to the Egyptians is sketchy to say the least.
If you use and bellieve the bible then the Jews had a substantial population in Egypt. They were slaves so one could assume that their task masters and owners as well as Egyptian government officials would have had some knowledge of Hebrew in order to keep them in tow and an ear on their conversations. I'm sure many Hebrews would have spoken Egyptian as well.

Just for fun, do you remember the movie the mummy when the monster was coming up to strangle the little weasel of a double dealer. He tried communicating to save his life in Arabic...errrrr; English...errrrrrrrrrrrrr; French ERRRRRRRR!
then Hebrew.... ahhhhhhhhhhhhh; the language of the slaves. Perhaps you will be of use to me! :)

Moses was raised in a Hebrew household by his biological mother when, after finding him in a reed basket in the river, Pharaoh's daughter hired her to raise him for her. The princess didn't know she was his real mom. The Bible says that Moses was returned to Pharaoh's daughter "when the child grew up."

Never underestimate possibilities, the Hebrew salves would have learned to speak Egyptian and Moses could well have learned Hebrew simply because both had to exist with one another.

The royals had Hebrew slaves. It would have been necessary to be bi-lingual.

He was cared for, "nannied" if you will, by his actual birth mother. She could easily have taught him Hebrew while raising him.
