What do guys like girls to do with their hands...
I usually just like rub around his thighs and put my hands up his shirt and run my fingers through his hair
and other ideas to make my boyfriend get going...?

every guy is diffrent and they like diffrent stuff.... some like girl to feel their muscles (if they have any) others like to be pushed down and be kissed on ect.... what i like to do is play with their belf/waist/zipper or put my hands in their pockets(only the empty ones!!! they might start thinking about you grabbing their wallet/phone/ ect and lose concentration)... when you do that your giving a sign that you want their pants to go bye-bye but you wouldnt dare to take them off... whisper in thier ear "ooo... your belt is tricky to take off'" "how does your belt work?" just use your imagination

Seriously though - it sounds like you have things pretty much under control. Perhaps just letting your hands run wild all over his body - or pulling him closer to you.
Nothing beats some good skin-on-skin contact :)

what you are doing is good. i also like to squeeze his shoulders sometimes, or the back of his neck. And my bf also likes it when I wrap my arms around his neck, and pull him really close. Something else I do sometimes is just run my fingertips along his belt line, or play with his front pockets.

you've got the hand thing down...unless you wanna take the next step and you're a good multitasker...
other than that, you can strattle him or climb on top of him in the horizontal position...they like it when you take charge sometimes.
