The real question is why do you want to contact him. If is to inform him of a death then the Red Cross is your best bet. If you are just wanting to say hello then you can try the USO, they maybe able to help. Good luck.

If you are legitimately related to the person that you looking for, then you could contact the Public Affairs section of your nearest military (in your case, Army) base. If you can prove your relationship, they may be able to assist you. Look at it from their point of view, though: if your brother has not kept in touch with you and your family, they may well be suspicious as to your motives. He has the right to remain apart from you, and to his privacy. That may trump everything if he is not interested in establishing contact with you.
If you are legitimate, you could try going to military.com and registering there. They have a locator service.

They are not likely to give you any info. They might let him know you are looking.
Who you would talk to is a very big??
I would start at the top of the list, call 411 and get a number for the Pentagon. They have a Human Resource Command .

is your brother in basic training, right now?
Hasn't your brother written you or the family? if yes then write him back at his address on the envelope. if hes been deployed then the mail will be forwarded to his new duty station.
if no then
Go to the local recruiter, and ask him how to do a search for your brother. They'll be happy to help you.
you also can ask the American Red Cross, and the USO.

Find out what unit he's in and because of the stupid democrats and liberals you can look on the internet and find all sorts of things that defeat the whole purpose of operational security!
