Okay guys, this one is more for the theists to answer, not the free thinkers. And for sake of argument let's change question to read "born into a Christian home". (It's getting a little too easy to dismiss people's questions on technicalities rather than the more difficult task of grabblin with their question. Hey, I'm guilty of it too (let he who is w/out sin...)

Religions teach things that are mutually exclusive. Christ claimed to be the only way to heaven. Other religions would all disagree. If Christ is correct then all others are incorrect.

There is ample evidence to support that the Bible is the divine Word of God, prophetic, historical, statistical, etc. If you come to that conclusion then you have no choice but to reject the others as Satan's attempt to mislead as many as possible.

See my post from earlier re: the different between Christians & religious affiliations.

No one can be born a Christian. In order to be a Christian, one who strives to be Christ-like & has accepted the free gift of Salvation & eternal life in Heaven, you have to make a choice...do I personally accept the offer, or do I turn my back on Him. Babies can't do that & neither can children until they have developed the understanding of the difference between right & wrong.

As for someone, anyone denying the validity of other religions, it goes back to how a person interprets God's instruction manual to man, the Bible. Catholics, Methodists, Calvanists, Baptists, etc. are groups or denominations that have doctrines with regards to the Bible, the Trinity, etc. It's a personal thing, unless a person just chooses to do what their parents or friends do, but even then they are making a choice not to choose for themselves. Look at atheists & atheism. They deny any denomination or doctrine that says God exists.

It's impossible to be born a Christian.

Everyone must decide for themselves.

I wasn't raised a Christian but became one as a young adult.

Everybody is born with a messed up spirit (Lost--disconnected from GOD).

Adam messed his up and passed it down to all of us.

Jesus made it possible to get that spirit Recreated, and that makes it possible for us to go back home to Heaven.

Ditto..........
