He has called me son. What an honor to be called son by my Father.
My earthly father only called me by my birth name. It never really felt "personal" or loving. But when God says, "Son..." it means so much more to me. And I find myself saying it more to my son rather than calling him by his name.

He called me "Chris." And I knew 1) that he loved me, and 2) that it was God because it wasn't an ostentatious name to inflate my ego.

I was once prophesied over and told that the name given to me at birth was not by chance - John, beloved of God.

yes - He called me by my first name...and in doing so called me beloved.
He also called me "glue" through others. I, too, know this part of my purpose.
