Yes, I have tons.
1. Bring lots and lots of notebook paper. You'll need it.
2. Use a backpack. Shoulder bags/totes are uncomfortable. Don't carry a purse and a backpack. If you do, leave it inside the backpack, because you'll probably leave the purse somewhere by accident (I did a few times, which is why I don't reccomend purses!) Do have a little pouch for lip gloss, cell phone, and other personal items that you can keep inside a backpack.
3. Don't wear heels unless you are very talented in walking fast in them.
4. Bring a waterbottle.
5. Have lots of pencils/pencil lead
6. Buy a locker mirror
7. Always carry a little bit of cash
8. Stay organized!!
9. Have fun and be yourself. High school is NOT like it is on television at all.

ALWAYS create an impression that will make people think who you are for the entire High School time. If you want to be 'gangster', and you are wearing nice sneakers and chains, people will expect you to be wearing that every day for the next four years. Just act yourself. Always do something you are and capable of. That solves 'image'. Now actual life. (In the words of my cousins)...balance everything carefully. Don't overdose on education. Keep it a priority but always have a good pen of friends to back you up. Do good in your Freshman and I believe Junior year academically and the honors and AP classes will come pouring in. Keep your cool and never keep your head to deep in either education or popularity and you will have a nice and decent high school life. And ALWAYS think about what you're going to do and how it might affect you.
Cheers.
P.S: This advice pretty much applies to both male and female.

Do not rush your time in high school trust me as a current working girl that has been out of high school for many years now the time goes by so fast you will be looking back and wishing you had to do it all over again. One good piece of advice is to be nice to everybody you don't know when you might need their help one day down the road. Also study hard and make good grades this pays off big time when it comes time for applying to colleges. Make lots of friends and there will be plenty of time for boys just enjoy your time as a single girl you have the rest of your life to be tied down. And the most important thing it to make sure and have fun! High school is a time to laugh, party, cut -up with friends, be silly, stay up late at slumber parties, go to football games and cheer on the team even if they are not good. Enjoy your time in high school I know you will do great!

I'm a college student so I think my advice is sort of good!
-being popular isn't the world! a close group of friends is fine!
-start off with good marks and keep good marks
-studying sucks but it's a necessary evil!
-don't lie about anything! lies come out and then you look stupid. plus 1 lie turns into 2 and then 4 and then 8,etc. they just multiply to cover the one before it! so stay clear of liars and lying.
-make nice with teachers- if they like you it helps a lot!
-don't bad talk anyone! you can want someone to trip and die but don't let anyone know!!
- If you have a secret you don't want anyone knowing don't write it down, don't tell anyone, etc. Keep it in your head!
-Dating is fun BUT date one wrong guy and you can have a bad rep for the rest of high school!
-don't sleep around. that makes you a mother not a cool person.
-drugs and alcohol may seem fun and what everyone is doing but it's not worth it.
-sports, choirs, plays, etc. get involved!!
-Listen to your parents- you might think they just want to ruin your life but they know what's best.
I really messed up during high school. I got in with the wrong group, dated the wrong guys, did some really harmful things and in all honesty I'm lucky to be alive today because I was your typical idiotic teenager!
I'm a college student now and I did work hard during high school but only in the courses I needed for college which was a mistake. you need to take high school seriously or else you're going to have problems later in life.
if a friend betrays you- they'll do it again and again. make sure you can speak up when someone does you wrong but don't go around starting problems or rumours.
best of luck in high school, it gets pretty crazy and wild but if you have a good head on your shoulders you'll do just fine!

At least in my case, I found that HS was far less dramatic (and traumatic) than Jr High. People are starting to mature a bit, and bullies and druggies end up on the bottom of the high school food chain. Just be yourself, and be happy being yourself. Remember that 10 years from now, you WILL realize that everything you thought was such a big deal will mean nothing. You'll run into people you remember being total punks to you, and they'll act like you were best friends. High school is an adventure...just focus on your studies, be nice to EVERYONE and you'll come out okay. :)

Be confident in who you are. Choose your friends based on how much you enjoy being with them and not on how popular they seem or don't seem to be, let your natural charisma and energy guide you and don't ever sweat the small stuff. It is important to focus your mental energies on the three basics, reading, math & science so that you can get high scores on your state tests, because high school is confusing, challenging and emotionally difficult but it is just the beginning. Always keep in mind that there is life after high school. But the real friends you make will be with you forever. Cherish the bonds made, and don't let peer preasure get in the way because life changes every year and what isn't popular one year is the sh%t the next.

The best advice anyone could give you is to remain yourself. If not you will only endup in a situation that you didn't want to be in. Also, choose your friends wisely, many teen girls are fake meaning, they gossip, lie, and can bee extremely rude. Take it from me, i just graduated on the 22nd of May,and was voted best personality and funniest girl, so i was very known and trust me popularity is a job, that can get real ugly. I was suspended over 6 times my freshman year, 4 times my sophmore year, 3 times my junior year and once my senior year...all for nothing. The good ol he say she say. Have fun, but be smart about it!!

Yeah high school! r u nervous? Well my advice is to keep your head up,but don't be too cocky. But remember every1 is nervous in a new situation. Make a friend or 2 & keep em close,so u can have someone to lean on,and always talk to.
Oh,u only get 1 chance at this so try hard & go to college;-)
Take some advice from someone who wishes she would've tried harder.

Theres so much to learn...
1. DO NOT get behind in your studies. You will regret it.
2. Dont stress over the guys. Most of them just want to get into your pants. Wait for the right one.
3. Be yourself. People are going to love you for you. And if they dont, then forget them.
4.Have fun and participate. Some things you just shouldnt miss out on.
Thats all I can think of... Hope this helps!
