So my best friend is going out with this girl. She was on vacation all week and he was flirting with me like mad! He said how he was going to brake up with her. But when she got back from vacation, he told me he didnt want to talk to me ever again because his girlfriend doesnt like me. should i just forget about him? or should i keep hoping he'll come to his senses?

I think that you should give up on him and move on. It sounds like he isn't much anyway if he was flirting with you while he was going out with someone. Just think, if you were to go out with him, and you went some where he could do the same thing to you. So, I would suggest that you move on and find someone that is worth your time. Because it sounds like he isn't.

He was just using you for a week while his girlfriend was gone. He might even have been trying to get laid. And when his girlfriend came back he had to get rid of you to help him forget is guilt of trying to cheat on his girlfriend.
This guy isn't serious about you. If he was he'd be dating you instead of her. Don't believe those PG-13 romantic comedies that have the "best friends" become romantic after somebody comes to their senses. I'm not sure if it ever happens that way in reality. And even if he does come to his senses, really, do you want to be with a guy who treats you this way? But, if he came to his senses he wouldn't treat you this way, right? Ohhhhh, that thought is soooo seductive. That thought allows you to invalidate the treatment he's giving you now, and hold on to a dream, a dream of what he could be like one day, not what he really is.
Forget about him. You deserve better.
