Calling your mother an *** is hardly the right thing but i understand. If you are opposed to her, tell her to go to hell

Any good mom would know that children are the gift of god.
Any mother who isn't willing to talk to her child is a heartless
hag.

I get the feeling there is more to the story here. But I don't know how your mother really is, so I can only assume maybe your mother is holding a grudge against your brother because of an disagreement.

Not showing up his graduation or even yours is not a great way to go about that. Sit down and talk to each other. It's no use walking around, ignoring everyone and stuff. Until your mother talks about what's bugging her, you can refuse her not being at your graduation. It's a time for congratulations, not hatred.

Then again, if she's the kind of woman who doesn't give two craps about her own children unless it is about her, i.e. she's jealous and such, forget it.
