they are cute, but I would not recommend a working breed dog for a first time dog owner, UNLESS, you are seriously commited to socializing, training and giving this dog a job to do. Bored dogs can be quite destructive and some have aggression problems as they get to be around two years old - when they grow up. Also, some areas do not allow minors under 15 to walk certain breeds of dogs, you might want to check on this for your city.

Eww, no sorry. They don't even have cute spots or floppy ears. If you're into the pointy head thing go with a collie, soooo much cuter!!!! Also...be careful with german sheperd's if you decide to get one....my aunt has always had them and it has been one heartache after another between the hip displasia, cancer, and epilepsy!

all puppies are cute, (most anyway) and german shepards are adorable until they bare their teeth and take a chunk outta yer arm.

They are cute as pups, but grow to be a big dog.
