this is one of the reson why i dislike christianity and other abrahimic religions:
imagine you are a very good person who follows the commandments and so you go to heaven....however your spouse, mother, children or other very close loved ones were bad people.....they slept around, took drugs, were thiefs and gamblers and so they ended up going to hell........well what would be the point in a heaven you couldn't even be with you loved ones? it just doesn't makes sense......sure you get to float on clouds, and get your virgins etc etc...but all this would be pointless if you dont even hae your loved ones.

Another thing i dont get is the whole concept of 'hell'........why would this even be created??
what possible pleasure could a 'loving' god get from torturing people for all eternity??
i know it's the devil that does it...but over all god controls everything right? so why would he want ones of his creations to suffer like that??

You are a person with a brain... Don't break your head about that anymore... There is no point... The truth is that only those with a very specific job to do in heaven is going to heaven... hell is the grave and all get out of there in the resurrection. All will be given a chance to live without evil's influence on the planet before they risk dying of what is called the second death from which there is no resurrection possible... A God of love, wisdom, power and justice, as the one who created us and has the last word on all that ever happened or that will happen, isn't as inconsiderate as what people have been led to believe... Everything will be wonderful in the best of worlds! He's taken care of us before we were even born by sending his perfect son to pay the perfect divine ransom for all of our sins... Love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself. These, Christ said, were the greatest commandments of all. As a matter of fact, all of the others rest on those two.

Obviously you have not read the Holy Bible. You have your info all wrong. Hell is very real and much suffering will go on there forever believe it. Best get informed with the truth, before you end up in hell, with no way out for all eternity. Get yourself a New Living translation of the Holy Bible it is written in plain modern English. Hurry time is short.

All knees shall bow, all tongues shall confess that He is God.

Wow, you asked too many big questions for this small forum. I will try to give an abridged version, but if you really want to understand all this, I'll need more space to write it all.

The first thing you must understand is that Heaven the place where God is. This is the most significant fact concerning heaven. Modern culture has deluded it to a place of pleasure and this is a false concept. The reason people are happy in Heaven is because they have longed and desired for God on earth for many years only to receive Him in heaven. The early Jews would often use the word "Heaven" as a way of speaking about God.

Therefore, the whole point of Heaven is God. We goto Heaven to be with God. In Heaven, God will be the center of our attention.

Secondly, Hell is a place of eternal torture originally created for the Devil and the demons. However, by their own choice, a portion of humanity will also be going to Hell as they have rejected Jesus. Jesus is God, and so if you reject Jesus, then you will follow the Devil to Hell. Obviously, a person who rejects God cannot goto Heaven because that is the whole point of Heaven. God is in Heaven. If you reject God, then you are rejecting the creator of the universe who is both good and loving.

Thirdly, God doesn't want anyone to goto Hell. A person is sent to Hell and eternally tortured because of their own sin. God is only the judge. Each person makes their own choice to sin or not.

Fourthly, Hell is a great expression of love. God loves humanity so much that He honors our choices. God could easily strip us of all our rights and make us robots. Instead, He gave us the choice, and we choose to sin against God or not.

God's desire is that everyone will see their sin, their wrongdoing, and turn to righteousness. They will seek after Jesus for redemption. However, some people will not. They refuse. And so, God does not force them. God has given us this freedom, the freedom to choose Him as our God or not. It would be nonsense for God to give us this freedom and then remove it.

Fifthly, the whole point of Hell is to bring justice. God brings justice to all His creation. Obviously, there are creatures who have done good and those who have done evil. God punishes those who have done evil to bring justice to those who have done good. In this way, God honors everyone.

Lastly, those who are in Heaven will be so happy and joyful to have God, being completely surrounded by His glory and love, that they will not fret over the loss of their loved ones.

Think of it this way....let's say someone you love commits murder in another country and is sent to prison for life. You will never see them again. Of course you love that person, but will you let their actions stand in the way of enjoying the love you have with everyone else?

Perhaps it's the theology, rather than Christianity itself, that needs to go into the trash can.

I don't "imagine" that I'm a very good person. The Bible denies this. That puts me in with the "bad people" of your scenario except for a loving God that pulls me away from that. I deserve no better than anyone else. No one deserves heaven because of their own perceived goodness.

there is no suffering in heaven, therefore, God would transform the saved souls to be happy for eternity

Hell is a place where souls are sent for eternity that don't want to be with God in heaven. The biggest punishment is seperation from God forever, the torture part comes second.

HEAVEN'S POINT IS WHERE U GO TO BE REWARDED FOR YOUR LIFE ON EARTH.
