No. I have no idea what is in the EU Constitution but if the EU Human Rights laws are anything to go by, then much of it will be good and in our interest.
I am old enough to remember Winston Churchill as prime minister and him telling us of his wish for a United States of Europe. He was right and the sooner we have such the better.
People should stop being Little Englanders and come to realise that the people of UK have always looked abroad for their success. There's nothing wrong with Europe and especially, there is nothing wrong with France.
France just happens to be the most popular holiday destination for the Brits. In spite of what people may think, most of us are content. France is also the most popular location for a holiday home and resettlement.

No because it is too late to do anything about it
I voted years ago to join a trading association, not the United states of Europe. It was said that parliament would always be supreme in the affairs of UK. The jibe little Englander is made by those who have not realised that there is a big wide world out there and European restrictions will ultimately prevent us from taking advantage of it. The little Englanders are in fact those who feel that we can not survive without the rest of Europe. I think we should ask ourselves how a group of nations who essentially hate one another can survive under a democratic government which actually has no power.

1. what job has he secured? Please provide authoritative details.
2. what European constitution? There is talk of a Treaty, not a constitution.
3. Where does it say that there is an obligation on any government to hold a referendum on a treaty? And if such an obligation exists, why was there not one on the Maastrict treaty?

There was a referendum, many years ago, and the majority of Britons said "Yes" to joining the `common market`. Mind you, they were totally mis-led by the then government, they were told they were saying yes to free trade between `common market` partners, and no passports would be needed to travel in the` common market`. What a laugh that was !!!!
