Even if you extremely stressed out at the moment, life sucked due to living with your alcoholic brother and neurotic sister, you never had enough time for anything, and you were broke? Would you still call her to see what she wanted? or would you just hope to run into her again in person when things calmed down.

Sweetie, its very nerve racking for a girl to call a guy...I promise...if she called you, chances she likes you as well.
It sounds like with all the "bad" things going on in your life its high time something good happened. Maybe this is it. Do not let all lifes craziness deplete a wonderful oppertunity. Give the girl a phone call!

Why not call her back? Without risk, there is never gain.
Just keep the negative stuff out of the conversation. I know you need someone to vent to and talk to, but dont let it be her. Make it a long time friend or school counsellor.
Just be yourself and put yourself out there. Whats the worst thing she could say? No?

If she called you first definitely call her back! Even if she ends up not liking you it will not be the end of the world. If she is surprised you have the excuse that you called because she called you first. I doubt she would bother calling you if she didn't like you in some way (friend or more). You should call her. Well just explain your situation, most girls won't be scared away by a ****** up situation. They actually seem to be intrested how they can help. Any girl that calls you atleast likes you as a friend. Just throw in smooth lines to make her smile. There isn't a woman alive that doesn't like to smile.

don't try to start something unless you're ready for it. that's my advice. if you have things in your life that will prevent you from committing to someone--even someone you like--then what's the point? you'll just hurt yourself and her, and probably very soon. but there's nothing wrong with calling her and with being friends--feel it out, take your time. no rush!

calm down and dial her number how you going to know what she wants unless you as her. Your family problems should have anything to do with you caller her, I doubt it's a marriage proposal.

for sure she should be pals. so in basic terms "pass with the flow" call her and communicate and quickly adequate issues take place believe meee. dont pass to quickly thoughhh. yet dooo flirt a lil :]
