I am not being close minded, I am asking a question trying to expand my mind. It is a simple question that can have any range of answers. Relax.

I just follow my conscience, which developed thanks to the values I was taught that pave the path I'm committed to walk on. No need to believe in any God to be a good human being: conscience is something each of us can develope.

Well for those Christians who are pretending to be phony as you say "pretend I'm perfect in public" crap that people think makes them look Christian? They shall have more to answer for than a man or woman who did not know God or lived a lie. It says those who think they will enter first shall enter last and those who feel unworthy to enter shall enter first. I know it does say that but i off hand do not know where in the New Testament off hand. I could find out. So to answer your question. I would rather follow Jesus. He is the Truth and the Light. I dont' worry about all the others trying to look better than us.

God is the author of all good thoughts...so I will follow Jesus. You have to rely on him for your next breath..only pride will make u walk on your own. So the question is do u think on ur own, or do u take advice from The great I Am who created the earth? Do you make a financial investment without talking to a financial planner?

God bless u,

Daniel

I make mistakes. I have made a few big ones. I've hurt others, strangers, friends and family and myself. Jesus is the Son of God, He is perfect, sinless, knows God one-on-one, taught us His word and how we ARE to live our lives. I would much rather follow Jesus' then myself. I tried for 15 years to live my way and it only brought me hell. Now that I have God back in my life, I am sane again.

you can accept Christ as a spiritual being and think for yourself and accept other spiritual beings as well. Those in religions need to open their hearts and minds to other religions, this inability is part of the reason why there is so much suffering here on earth, wars and such. People think their beliefs are the only ones and this creates rigidity and lack of love between nations and peopel within nations.

Choosing to follow Jesus IS thinking for yourself. You don't have to "blindly" follow anyone. I make a conscious choice to follow Jesus because I believe that his way leads to happiness and joy. I think for myself and make my own decisions each step of the way--I'm not being led around like a dog on a leash.

All humans have a desire to follow themselves and not pay attention to what really matters. I try to follow Jesus in every way that I can because I know that is the right thing to do. I mess up sometimes, ok a lot, but I confess what I have done wrong and I know that God forgives me.

Of course myself. Ignorance is what has kept these blind faiths together for so long. Knowledge is power and how about patting yourself on the shoulder from time to time because that good call you made was all yours and not "god".

Our thinking is so inadequate to how to fight and defeat the evil one of this world that it would be futile to live our lives without the protection and guidance of the LORD, Jesus Christ.

God Bless You
