ok.....NECK .....then foot then hip then wrist... so if you want a tattoo i say start on your shoulder or back...... because all these place hurt bad!!! neck is very sisitive and foot is all bone and so is the hip and wrist!!! for your first tat.. go in cognito trty it out small and unnoticeable... something easily covered in case you dont want it revealed or dont like the outcome.. but if youinsist on one of these four places..ig go with the hip or foot since you can cover them easily

I can't really say how painful neck would be as I haven't had tattoo there. But out of the other 3 which I have had done, they all hurt a bit but wrist was least painful, followed by the hip, then the foot. It depends how much flesh you have on that particular area, when I had my hip done was very skinny, felt like he was just tattooing bone but if you have a little more flesh there won't hurt as much.
You have picked some pretty painful ares there but the pains worth it, and when I have a tattoo done I get a bit of a buzz from the pain... lol, sounds strange but a lot of people do.

I have 4 on my feet, 1 on my shoulder, 1 large one from my hip to my whole butt cheek & 1/2 way down my leg. My hip to my leg was the least painful, then my shoulder, then my feet. The feet were the most painful!!! My best friend has a few also & she said her wrist was more painful than the back of her neck. Hope this helps!!! Good luck!!

If you are worried about the veins, ask your artist. Almost everybody's veins are really visible there because the skin is pretty thin. However, if it was dangerous, people would not be allowed to get tattooed there. Since the skin is thinner there compared to other places (like calves, shoulders, etc.), it will probably sting a bit more than your previous tattoo. That said, do not let pain affect your placement.

Hip would be the best spot. Unless it is on top of your hip bone. Getting tats on a thin layer of skin on top of bone hurts the worst. Neck is on bone. Foot hurts because the skin is very thin (on top). Wrist is the same as foot. I have tattoos on all of these parts. My first tat was on my lower stomach, and it wasn't painful at all. The lower back isn't bad either.

Tattooing hurts anywhere!! The good thing is the area goes numb during the outlining stage so the pain decreases and makes it much easier to tolerate.
Ive got one on my left breast, right inner forearm, inner ankle (ouch!!), knee and hand.
Whatever you do, make sure you can conceal the tattoo as needed, ie. not on your arms, hands neck or face.
And please never put anybody's name on you, I have a name on my chest of a person who I was with for as long as it takes to blink an eye, and who, by the way is Dead!!

I have one on the inside of my ankle, one on my hip and one on the top of my back in the center.
Out of all three I would have to say that it was a toss up between my hip and ankle, which hurt the most.
The one on my back hurt over the spine and alittle on one side but on the other side I found it really relaxing.
Everybody feels pain differently in different places. So you never know which is gonna hurt more than the other.

Back hurts worst then foot. Foot doesnt hurt its just more annoying then anything... like uncomfortable. I want one on my wrist and hip... I wouldnt go with ur neck b/c it would be kinda hard to cover it up... and it looks tacky. I would start with your foot. I promise you it doesnt hurt one bit. I am a HUGE sissy when it comes to needles. It took me over an hour to get a flu shot and i've passed out on several occasions getting my blood drawn. SO yeah.. i'd say start with your foot!

the fatty areas are least painful so stay away from bones like the neck, ribs, hand etc. but honestly tattoos should hurt it is part of the experience. a right of passage if you will. be sure you get something you will want when you are 55-60 years old and saggy

if you think you have a high tolerance for pain then it wontmatter where your first tattoo is placed.depending on the person the most painful area for them could be the least for another. The more flesh you have between needle and bone the less likely it is to be really painful.
