This is flagrantly bogus on so many levels I don't even know where to begin.
I don't deny that a man named Jesus lived around that time (he may or may not have). What I don't believe is that he performed the miracles in the Bible or that he was conceived by the Holy Spirit.
That doesn't have anything to do with "knowing" that Jesus lived. There are also, as has been pointed out, millions and millions of people that we KNOW lived and existed and bodies have never been recovered.
Swing and a miss...

He wasn't chosen out of a team of fetuses, God despatched him (keep in mind Jesus is likewise God). Jesus grew to become into totally human and totally divine. that's what I keep in mind from my Catholic ideals in any case, i'm an atheist now and don't have self belief in any of that (different than in line with danger the totally human section)...

Yeah right. Jesus is a myth with NO history and NO body and no anything other than the totalitarian oppression that his mindless drone followers would like to inflict on all the intelligent people of the world. Give it up.

This is a point many do not want to face. Jesus was such a thorn in the side of both the Romans and Jews that if they could have produced a body believe me they would have.
Roman guards placed there threatened with death if there were any problems proved no problem at all to God.
There is also the fact that Christ appeared to many after His resurrection and no where do you find this refuted in historical documents.
Again we see that if the Romans or Jews could have disproved it they would have. They would have stepped up and said "Hey what do you mean He appeared to thousands? I was there and that wasn't Him." But they couldn't. Why? Because He rose again!!!!!!!!! Glory glory to my everlasting relief, astonishment and gratitude.........Jesus died and rose again.

I have no doubt that Jesus existed, but I do have a problem with the Bible. There's more to Christianity than a body.

Christianity has alarmingly little to do with Jesus and much to do with politics and culture. Christianity arose from an interchange between Hellenistic and Judaic thought, and was given a very powerful boost by Constantine, when he found it a convenient means to garner support for his claims to the throne of Rome.

We don;t KNOW he lived, and like you said we can't produce a body. How many people have died that we couldn't produce a body for? Like this is something new? I don't see how people can believe when we have no proof of it!

Well the thing is, not everyone who doesn't believe in christianity denies that Jesus of Nazareth walked the earth. I don't. What I do deny is that he was divine by birth; he was divine by design by people who decided to martyr him years after his death.

Well, how do you KNOW he lived, when there's no historical documentation of his life? I know that the consensus is that he was a real person, but nobody ever explains how that consensus came about when, outside of the bible, he isn't mentioned prominently anywhere, and isn't mentioned at all in contemporary reports.
And I'm sure there's lots of historical figures from that period who we don't have bodies for, so that's a weak argument anyway.
