Things Remembered have lots of great wedding gifts, and you can get them engraved. Picture frames, toasting flutes just to name a few items they have. Check them out at www.thingsremembered.com

Do you know where the bride and groom will reside after a wedding? Are they going to start fresh somewhere? Depending on which one you know, find a home appliance that you know they want, and the other wouldn't mind. That way you know you will help them out, than getting them something ridiculous that they already have like a toaster!
100 dollars is alot of money, and you can buy something for them!
Worse comes to worse, make a basket for the two of them, with wine, some nice cheeses, a book, and some massage oills?! Something nice!

Get something from their registry! Ask one of their wedding party members if you don't know where they're registered yet. Nothing is more annoying than getting a bunch of "sentimental" gifts and then being forced to go and spend more money after the fact on the stuff that you actually NEEDED but that nobody got for you.

I know you said you want something to give other than cash, but I'm suggesting it anyway! From all the weddings I've been to (and there have been tons), it has been customary to get a gift off the registry for the bridal shower and give cash for the wedding itself. The wedding is the couples first step towards starting their life together (even if they already live together). The cash is meant to help them on their way. It isn't thoughtless if this is what your thinking. If you're adamant about not giving cash, what about giving them something they can use during their wedding cermony/reception?

I have some good ideas for you. I run my own gift basket business and I could make you a beautiful basket with you specified budget. I could either ship it to you or ship it to the wedding couple. I would just need to know the day you need it by. Send me an e-mail if you are interested at all. Best Wishes and I hope to hear from you.
My e-mail is: giftbasketsbycortney@yahoo.com

If the couple is registered I would by something of off their registry. If they are not registered why not get them a nice embroidered blanket with their names and wedding date. Or a gift certificate to get pictures taken with a photographer or something as even if they don't use it now they could eventually use it for pics of their family (ie.once first born is born). Sorry I couldnt' be more help.

I suggest that you find out where the couple are registered at or just get a nice wedding card and put the $100.00 in there. It could help them on the honeymoon or if you don't want to do that just get them a Saving Bonds. Hope this Help you.

Is the couple registered anywhere?? Such as Bed, Bath and Beyond or Crate and Barrel ?? You can go to the website and put in the brides name or the grooms name. If they have registered you will get a list of the things they want and then you can choose from their list.
Otherwise, I would give them a gift card to one of their favorite places.
Or, you can check out www.theknot.com

Give them candles and put them in a basket and add this poem

A basket of candles for ( insert couples name)

A basket of candles that come in a pair

In all different colours for you two to share

The white ones burn first
They are wrapped in white lace, to celebrate your first
night in your new chosen place.

The green pair is taller, and so much thinner
Burn with the first company , you have over for dinner.

The dark blue candles are for after your first fight,
use them to burn while you make up all night.

Pink candles set the mood and pave the way for your first married Valentine's Day.
Now when your first year of marriage is through the
cream anniversary pair will light for you two.

Red candles a flame, both your futures are bright, celebrate promotions you've worked towards with all of your might.

By this time we hope, maybe just maybe you can light the light purple ones. on the birth of your baby.
and just when you thought you'd put these away,
Take out the light blue ones for your fifth anniversary day.
Now just one More pair left - for the big 25 the anniversary pair that will keep your love alive.

Congratulations on the start of your marriage forever
may the two of you always be happy together and burn these candles just they way we said

But please don't forget to blow them out before bed!
