I've not studied this in depth but understand that apple seeds do
contain a certain amount of toxic compounds. I've heard, but cannot confirm,
that while small numbers of seeds are dangerous, eating a larger number will
induce vomiting before the poison is absorbed. The whole business seems a bit
unlikely to me, I confess, since apples are so widely eaten and we never hear
directly of apple-related fatalities.

Answer 2: Apple seeds contain "prunasin" which is a cyanogenic glycoside - a
chemical that can become a poison when it is digested - it releases cyanide.
Apples are in the genus Prunus and members of Prunus make these types of poisons.

Yes apple seeds have a cyanide compound. Accidently swallowing a couple wont hurt but dont be eating the seeds.

They are, but not enough for one to hurt you. You would have to eat a lot of seeds to even get sick. They do have a little poison in them, though.

Yes it is, my friend. Apple seeds naturally contain small traces of arsenic and if consumed in large quanitites (I mean LARGE) quantities, it could prove deadly.

That is cr^p they are so bitter you would have to be totally stupid to chew them...
then most likely the runs would flush you clean
Eating them whole will pass just like watermellon seeds or corn.
