i am 17 years old and traveling from Ohio to Texas soon. I have a school ID, birth certificate, and expired temps. Will that work as acceptable identification to get on the plane?

The local DMV can issue you an ID in just a couple of days. Your school ID, birth certificate or expired temps are worthless in checking in. You have to have a valid positive form of ID, none of those are. You need a passport, drivers license, military ID, or other government issued ID card. The local DMV can issue you that last one.

Just go to the dmv and get a state isuued I.D. They never expire.

i would be concerned and try to get one unless you are leaving this week. but since you're not going international it shouldnt be too much of a problem.
