I would recommend checking out this guy’s site and his book. I myself have found it very helpful and have been successful using the steps laid out for a few months. I have never felt better and have lost the weight I wanted. I have friends that just started and they state it is easy and can not believe it. www.juststopeatingsomuch.com It will not only help you now, but for the rest of your life. Very safe and very smart!

Eat less, exercise more. It's a pretty simple formula.

For a couple of more specific things, avoid eating or drinking anything that contains refined carbohydrates (donuts, white bread, white rice, etc.) or high fructose corn syrup (sodas, powerade, soft candies, etc.). Those two substances probably contribute more to the fattening of America than anything else.

Walk more. Park farther away from things. Stay out of the drive throughs. Go up the steps in the mall instead of the escalators. Lots of little things like that lead to burning a few extra calories, which leads to losing weight.

OK buddy, listen up. The first thing you need to do is eliminate sugar as much as possible. Sodas, candy and other junk foods have to go.Second, step back away from the computer, get outside and DO something active. Take tennis lessons, walk, ride a bike, anything. Third, you may find that as you reach the end of puberty that your body has a way of it's own to balance things out. You may get a growth spurt and gain 3 inches, your metabolism may start burning more calories. The most important things tho are portion control, choice of foods and exercise.

With your being so young, you really need to have your parents take you to the doctor before starting any exercise program. But always remember--exercise is essential in losing weight and keeping it off!

So, until you see your doctor, check out the website below. It has links to other websites that can be very helpful in getting you into shape before your junior year.

Good luck!!

Cut out sugar, fried foods, fast food, soda, and all junk food. Eat lotsa fruits and veggies. (I love frozen peas.) Eat a lot of fish. Tuna in water in the can or packet is great. Salmon, halibut, and cod are great. Not breaded though! The butcher in the supermarket can tell you how to cook them. Broiling and baking are the best. And eat white meat chicken without the skin. Drink lotsa water. Only eat when you're hungry, not bored or just thirsty. And exercise at least 30 minutes a day. Walking, swimming, treadmill, stationary bike, or jumping rope are all great. And don't eat 2-3 hours before you go to bed. You'll feel great in the morning. If you're about to cheat, brush your teeth. WILLPOWER! You can do it!! :)

I stop drinking soft drinks all together, (no sugar) drink green tea sweeten with splenda. I stayed completely away from all fried food. Changed to wheat bread only, steamed or boiled fresh veggies and eat only turkey or chicken breast, grilled or baked. No desserts. It was hard at first, but I ate three meals a day, and lost 30 pounds in three months. Just stick with it and to not be tempted to get off the diet. I also got more exercise. Good Luck, I know you can do it.

well first you should boost your metabolism by eating 6 small meals a day. Then i would exercise at least 4 times a week. Be active everyday, dont be sitting around doing nothing. Cardio is very important in losing weight so u should start running, or biking a lot.

Whatever you do, do NOT go on a starve-yourself diet!!! It is the worst thing you could possibly do!!! Walk a hour every day, (build up to that) and eat when you want to eat. Just make sure you know what it is you're eating! I've been on this diet since mid-April and I've lost 9 pounds during adolescence! Any diet that can do that can't be too shabby, right?

Check into a local gym possibly. But for me I would ignore them....you shouldn't be ashamed of your body, its just how you are. If they pick on you just to be funny then they need to get a life. But if you feel as if you need to change check into a gym. Talk to some of the trainers and ask if they would help you excersise. Eatting right and excersise will help you lose the weight that you want to lose.
