water

Water or fruit teas - avoid the diet drinks they all contain some chemical or other that might or might not pose long-term dangers.

You can either buy bottled water (I use the cheapest 2ltr bottles from ASDA/Walmart). or you can drink it from the tap.

You should be drinking about 3ltrs of water daily (no idea what that is in gallons or quarts).

If you want some variety - add a little real orange juice to your water (make sure it doesn't have sugar or other chemicals added). Don't use diluting juices - they are filled with chemicals as well - though there are bound to be cleaner juices out there. Also avoid those flavoured waters - most of them have never seen a piece of fruit and are all chemicals.

If you like you can add some real fruit pieces to your water - as your palate clears and your sense of taste returns, you will detect lime, orange, lemon etc (mainly citrus fruits).

(I wonder how many times I used the word chemical ;~) )

Hope this helps

Water, propel fitness water, crystal light, any 100% jucie no calories or sugar added, or V8 or those V8 fusions to get your daily serving of vegetables. If you are a big regular pop drinker kick that out of yor diet completley because a 20 oz pop can contain up to 200 calories. Or at least try to go to Diet but I found I did not like the taste of diet pop so I just went to the water and stuff and now I can't stand the taste of any pop.

Find herbal teas that you like and make your own sun tea. you can buy a sun tea jar at walmart for about 5 bucks. I mix different teas together like citrus green tea, sleepytime, peppermint and lemon zinger. put about 10 or 12 bags in your tea jar, fill it with cold water, and let it sit out in the sun all afternoon. it's great with ice and a little lemon, and has no calories or sugar.

I see others recommending lots of juice - that's a bad idea because of the sugar. even juice with no sugar added is basically liquid glucose! look for 100% natural juices like bolthouse farms or naked fruit, and limit your serving to about 4 ounces.

And if you are trying to lose weight, do your best to stay away from sodas and flavored coffees, even if they are diet. They still contain extra calories and sugar that undermine your effort. If you can't live without your starbucks or diet coke, make it a treat once or twice a week.

I hate water, so when I diet, I get Crystal Light mixes... They're only 5 calories a glass, and they're really good. I just mix a little packet in with a pitcher of water and VOILA! Delicious drink. They have really good raspberry flavor (it's my favorite) but the lemonade is good too. Also, I recommend instant tea. Sometimes, I'll use a glass of the crystal light lemonade to make a cup of instant tea... it's delicious!

Water...yeah I know I just beat a dead horse for about the 30th time...

Add some slices of lemon to the water. Or other fruit. You won't be getting any artificial additives, and the tiny amounts of sugar released into the water will not imbalance your diet regimen.

When I diet I drink LOTs of water (never heard that before have you?) but I also drink milk. The milk will not only help you get nutrients that you need, but dairy products can help with weight loss. It will also curb your appetite in those "between meals really need something" times.
