Yeah possibly. I'm tired of the argument since every single person has a slightly different idea of what Christianity and atheism is all about. People that basically agree seem to end up fighting with each other all the time too. It's like trying to have a deep conversation via text message. Everything is always misconstrued.

It depends on what you ask.
If your question implies a rejection of scientific facts, then the atheists are going to step up to the plate.
If you say something stupid about Christianity, then they will respond.
Ask what you want to ask. Try to ignore the trolls. The more thought and research you put in before asking, the more likely you are to get rational responses.

If you believe the points of view are misrepresented then represent them better yourself or point people to web sites where they are represented properly.
