What is it called when I make an extra copy of a document or program?

Copy, duplicate, backup, archive are the first terms that come to mind.

Copy - A clone of the original
Duplicate - A clone of the original
Backup - A clone of the original generally stored on external media for protection of information.
Archive - A clone of the original generally stored on long lasting media and then the original is removed from the system. This is done to save a version of the document for future use if needed.
