My neighbors computer lost all sound capabilities (except for pings when something is deleted, etc.). No video sound, etc. When I checked her audio status it says NONE INSTALLED. How can I get audio back on her PC for her. Mine has SoundMAX Digital Audio, but I don't know where to get a download for that. Can anyone help?

First need to find out what happened for it to lose the sound but if u cant well u have to go to the PC makers website and find the drivers, if the computer was personally built then u have to go to the motherboards makers website. What kind of computer and model is it?

Go download the driver for the soundcard.

Google it if you don't know where to get it.
