will the conspiracy theorists finally shut up and just be happy he will have a legitimate shot at a championship or will they say Rick has team orders now? It appears Mary D's sources are wrong and that HMS is letting Kyle out of his contract for 2008 (apparently he's asked to get out of it) and that Jr will get the ride in the #5 car. Wow, what a move by Rick if it's true, the smartest man in racing. Here's the link to the story, please read before answering.

Yes it is speculation and rumors at this point but there are several stories coming out right now and they all are saying that Jr is going to HMS. Who knows, we will find out tomorrow.

I did read it and all I can say is UH OH. How are JR and Gordon fans going to feel about this one? Yes I am a JR fan and I would love to see him start winning, and I am not going to bash Gordon there has been enough bashing already. But really JR & Gordon team mates?????? Once again, WOW

No, way off. You did no longer even think approximately that Harvick basically signed a sparkling contract extension, he won't be going everywhere, Allmendinger is maximum possibly staying interior the 40 3 motor vehicle for years yet to come back, and that Vickers is the chief at crimson Bull Racing and isn't any longer likely everywhere, and Mark Martin will retire quickly. JR Motorsports: 8 - Dale Jr. 88 - Brad Keselowski Hendrick: 24 - Jeff Gordon 40 8 - Jimmie Johnson 5 - Kasey Kahne 25 - Danica Patrick

I'm in a state of shock. I really thought Jr would end up with Childress or Gibbs. Now, should this speculation become a reality, I'm faced with a major dilemma. I'm a Dale Jr fan ONLY because I was a fan of Dale Sr. Seeing him in a Hendrick car will probably put an end to that. ( Home Depot orange is looking better by the minute.) While it may be a good move for Jr as far as finally having a shot at a championship goes, I think he'll lose some of his fan base.

I am not a fan of Jr, but it will be interesting to see if Hendricks team can make him a champ, I personaly doubt it. It takes more than money to win races, it takes talent and that is something Jr is short on.
