I would say short, short short. A buzz or something like it. Who wants to be constantly dealing with their hair...? That way he'll stay cool which is something every 8 year old boy's parent should be worried about....overheating and dehydration.

About 1-2 inchs, and gell up the bangs. Also, It dosen't really metter as long as its short, A buzz cut would even work.

ever hear of a flattop.It's short but much more styled than a BUZZ.Take him to an oldtime barber and ask what he thinks.

a close friend gave their kiddie a mohawk...easy ones are flat tops too...
