The selectors are still being unfair. They have repicked the dad's army that flopped miserably in the west indies. I would like to know whether they expect Dravid , Sachin and Ganguly to continue playing till the world cup.
Or is the Indian Board that could not even keep Graham Ford as a coach influence the ICC and pre pond the world cup by two years so that the great Sachin , Dravid and Ganguly can play the world cup before they retire.
Poor selection , better to have groomed youngsters like Kaif for the future rather than stick with over hyped players like Dinesh Karthick.

He must be one of the most mentally tough guys around to take this kind of treatment and still be around. Many of the lesser talents cannot stand out for the team like him with no godfather and expect to be selected.
We have done reasonably well in England so far and against Ireland where many are hoping to make records this is pathetic and a way of fooling the public.

Kaif is a good player, however he shines occasionally. To get into the Indian team, he has to perform well in the local matches and prove his worthness.

you cannot expect good selections till a politically controlled board is there . A recent rejection by ford as the coach just explains the current situation.
how can we forget that saurav was removed from the captainship saying he did not perform well. now he is a top scorer scoring very good runs(88 in afro asia cup match).
didnt he performed well.every batsmen has a good and bad phase and mohammad kaif is a very good player it is just take luck or media attention to get selected by such board.it neither knows it duties nor functions

Kaif is doing ok in relatives cricket after dropping sort Indian group. a minimum of he lots extra valuable than Virender Sewagh those days. If a participant like Sewagh could be chosen, why no longer Kaif? Kaif and Raina could be extra valuable determination than Sewagh... I agree Ganguli does not subject lots approximately his batting overall performance.. he as a Captain.. is familiar with the thank you to get suited from his gamers. Dravid in basic terms have faith in his overall performance and without offering motivation to his gamers ,he in basic terms different than them to play. group isn't playing as A group decrease than his captain deliver and so each and every participant isn't appearing at his point. this function replaced into no longer in step with overall performance yet what.. i understand understand. all of us is familiar with?

Kaif had got enough oppurtunities to preform but he was not up to the mark.
I agree with you He has the potential with a guranteed place He will justify his place in INDIAN team.
The selectors are bious and the sponsors influnce the selection and the big names have the backing to force their way in to the team not on preformance for other reasons.
INDIAN cricket is incomplete with out politics.

While I agreethat Mohd.Kaif is a very good player, he could not capitalise on the opportunities given to him as he failed to perform to his potential consistently before he was dropped. Even after his consistently failure with the bat,he was kept in the team mainly because of his fielding in coulple of matches. However, he failed to perform and lost his place in the team.

While it is easy to say that all senior players should be dropped and youngsters are to be inducted in the team, this cannot be done overnight. Young players should be blooded in the team in phased manner.

He should definitely be in the test team(replacing sachin, sourav or laxman). As far as ODI goes he is a best fielder but not a great slogger. So I think his ODI career is over.

He got enough of opportunities but he missed the bus.But he can still come back with good performance in Ranji trophy etc.
There are more unlucky people who could not get even the opportunities he got.
