God is Omniscient, Omnipresent & Omnipotent [Knows all, is everywhere & is all powerful]
To Mr. Catholic,
Hell is a very real place that God does not exclude Himself from; remember Jesus took our sins upon Himself when he allowed Himself to die on the cross. Where do you think He took those sins? He's not still carrying them around.
The very real & voluntary separation from God by those who choose Hell is not only physical, which is bad enough, but even worse, it's spiritual. It's the separation from the Heavenly Father for all time!

Yes, God is so Holy that he will not be found around sin or sinful activity. The Grace of God abounds, but not His presence. God's Holiness keeps Him from Hell as well, or what the Bible calls "outer darkness" although God knows what it is, and God created it, He is not able to abide there.
Some may disagree as David said in the Psalms "where can I go that you are not there Lord" (my paraphrase) I'm not exactly sure how this works, (for I just don't believe that even with a glorified mind we will ever capture the completeness of God Almighty), but God the Father is not nor will He indwell hell, for He is too Holy. I do however believe that Gods Spirit will be known in hell, and He will be the power that keeps all those sent to hell in hell for all time and eternity.
I hope this helps.

ROFLOL.
One person said Yes, because he is "all powerful." But God is also "all knowing." Which means he knows what everything looks like from every possible angle. He knows the state of every atom in everyone's bodies too.
So regardless of where God "is" his all-knowing ability is exactly like him being everywhere. Can God NOT be all-knowing if he wants to be? I suppose so, but Christians and others always claim he is all knowing. Therefore, he is essentially always everywhere!

Hell fits in there somewhere.
Christians believe that God is everywhere and then say that those in hell are completely separated from God.
This looks like another of those wonderful Christian paradoxes.
A paradox is a seemingly contradictory statement that nonetheless is true.
Some of the most interesting Christian paradoxes are:
+ One must lose his life to save it
+ One must die to live
+ Laboring to rest
+ Walking by faith, not by sight
+ Giving to receive
+ Being enslaved to be free
+ Finding fool’s wisdom
+ Yielding to conquer
+ Serving to reign
+ Dying to live

No. God is everywhere always. This disproves the theory that Hell is where God is not.
