Anyone can believe in GOD. Even if the person is not a Christian or religious or even a bum or a criminal. People who say that he or she belives in GOD sometimes don't even know what truly means by following the TRUE believe. But to those who sometimes don't think that religion is a big deal they know more in life (knowledge and connection to others) in what he or she expect.

He has shown himself in many ways for over 2000 years. Look at the complexity of the human body - God created that perfection and He is the only one who could create such perfection. Look at the balance of nature - God created that perfection. God is spirit. He came to Earth in the form of Jesus. People didn't believe then what was right in front of them, the miracles performed. God could appear to you, personally, in the form of a homeless person just to see how you would treat Him. And you probably wouldn't know it. If God Himself tapped you on the shoulder and said "I hear you're asking about me", and you felt the tap and heard the voice but didn't see Him, what would you think then?

i can see why he doesn't show himself, but what the **** has he been doing recently. think about the people you know, there is probably nothing more godly happening to them at the moment than having a nice meal.
Also, it seems very closed to me that people believe that god created the world. what about everything else. Here's a favourite quote of mine:
"Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space."
so why do religions have so little to say about space

I believe in God.

God has shown himself over and over again through out Judeo-Christian history.

Even after God performed miracle after miracle in freeing the Israelites from slavery and giving them food and water in the middle of the desert, they turned away from God, made and worshiped a golden calf.

God even became a human being, walked among us, and died a horrible death.

Miracles happen all around us every day, we just have to open our eyes to them and we will see God show himself.

I witness miracles all the time.

I participate in Mass where bread and wine is changed into the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Then I consume Him and become one with Him and a billion other Catholics.

I am forgiven my sins even though I am weak and will sin again.

I see couples promise to love each other forever in marriage.

I see parents bring children into the world.

I see people live in faith, hope, and love. All of which are beyond reason and therefore miraculous.

And these are just a few examples.

With love in Christ.

I do not believe in the Christian god "Jesus" I cant buy that stuff. I dont obide by the bible or "sing his praise". To me, god is somthing that represents hope and love, and i find it in the relationships that mean the most to me. It is somthing that is within and i have to find it.
What i find disturbing is that conservatives and fundamentalists believe in a god who is cruel, hates homosexual beings living their day to day life, and is flat out confining and scary. And they preach this. I certainly do not believe in that.

That is fine...you have a question.

The answer is.....seek HIM first. He wants us to come to Him in humbleness. You will never see or hear God with your arms crossed and pouting "hmph..if he is real He will show himself to me".

Good luck and God bless.

I believe in Jesus.

He reveals Himself to us through His Holy Word, through the nature, through the other people and through the circumstances in our life. Ask Holy Spirit to guide you.

That is why it is called faith in God just because you don' t see him doesn't mean he doesn't exist. We have plenty of evidence that he is real.......READ THE BIBLE!!!!!!!!! God is alive & watching ALL of us. Please if you are not involved in your local church find one your comfortable with. That also could be your problem, find a church that you fall in love with instantly, you could possibly try another denomination, or get involved with your Youth Group!

Remember John 3:16!!

I don't believe in God, but I think you should research the term "deism."

Because it would not be good for us if He did.
It's good for us to use our faith.
He's given us all we need to get to where we want to be. It'll take faith, through believing in Jesus Christ, to get there.
