This guy broke up with me a couple months ago and he calls me once in a while telling me he misses me then he wont talk to me for another two weeks. It's like he doesnt want to date me but he doesnt want me to be with anyone else. I'm tired of playing his games, so how do i let him down without being a ***** about it?

I really was in that situation of the guy to help
I should ask you :
did you like him?
did he notice that?
if answer is yes for above I want to advice you to give yourselves
another chance because he might not ready for dating at that time but the love makes him come back
if he truly loves you don't lose him
another chance not to waste the love and believe me after that if he keeps doing the same you will have the motivation to let him down and he will deserve that..

You are not being mean to want to get this person out of your radar. You are being honest, and protecting yourself. This is not a bad thing. You do not have to be aggressive and ugly just because you are not enjoying being toyed with.
You do not have to LET HIM DOWN EASY-he is bothering you.
If you were pestering someone, what would you want him to say to you so that YOU quit? And not LEAD you on, by being nice?
I bet there's not a man on the planet that would feel any remorse at all to say to YOU! "Leave me alone. Please stop calling me. Good bye."
Then don't EVER answer his calls anymore.

It sounds like he wants to talk to you when he does not have anyone else. Next time he calls (do not call him) tell him your dating someone and your boyfriend doesn't like it when he keeps calling you and you don't like it either. Even if your not dating someone that not only will make him wise up but he will also regret he lost a good thing to someone else good luck :)

Get caller ID. Stop answering when he calls. Throw his letters in the trash. Stop going to places where he would hang out. Just disappear from the face of the earth as far as he's concerned.

Tell him in those 2 week he was gone that you meet someone and you like to see where that is going. Trust me I used that all the time. Even when ex- coming calling for a one nighter.

Clearly he is not as straight as his public image paints him. And he is not the first guy to play this game. (keeping his same sex interest private) A straight guy does not kiss another guy as you describe. He knew the rules of the game and knew the possible outcome yet he played the game, would he play the same game with him mum? The answer is no because he has no desire to be affectionate with her. Yet he did play with you knowing he would have to kiss you. You need to accept that while he may play this game with you and may even let you service him, he will never let this be public knowledge. You will also not be the first guy to play with his fishing tackle and you wont be the last. But none of that is to ever be public knowledge. Me personally, I have no time for such games. I say no to such guys. I have no desire to be their sex toy. But that is just me.

You have 2 options.
1- change your number
2- don't be afraid of him. TALK to him - BE STRAIGHT.
Hey Jim - what do you want? It's over between us so WHY are you calling me? If he says something like oh I like talking to you - tell him well the feeling isn't mutual and I'd appreciate it if you LOSE my number!

Sometimes being a B**** is the BEST way to go - PERIOD!

Just be straight up about it. Being honest doesn't make you a biotch. Tell him you'd rather he didn't call anymore as you're trying to put the past behind you and move on. Then...stop taking his calls (or block his #).

Just say, "I don't want to talk to you anymore. Please stop calling." You won't be being anything but honest. Then stop answering the phone when it is him. If you are not direct, he is going to interpret everything you say and do in whatever way suits his personal desires. Just tell him and be done with it. You'll be doing HIM a favor.

just tell him u want nothing more then friends, if he cant except that and keeps giving u his i miss u sob story, thats like stalking....control freak....never any good. i dated a guy for 4 1/2 yrs who treated me like crap and was in and out of jail and i just couldnt take it no more and i told him that in a nice way that it wasnt going to work out and that i couldnt live like that no more. he wouldnt except it, he sent me letters in the mail and when he finally realized i was just going to keep returning them, he started writing on the outside of letters so i had no choice(he was in prison at this time) and then finally he gave up for awhile after i ignored his every attempt and then when he got out he showed up at my work place and pretty much just wouldnt get the clue so finally i had to be a b**** otherise this guy was never going to go away.
