Unlike just about ever other President - President Bush has not only attended military funerals but he is the only President to offer to meet personally with the family of every service member killed in combat.
BTW here are some true stories that indicate President Bush's high regard for those who serve:

Actually, I know of no president who has ever attended a soldier funeral.
They attend the funerals of high ranking General officers who have made significant contributions to the US.
But I have never heard of any President attending the funeral of a common soldier.
Just how would they choose which soldier's funeral to attend ?
What would they say to the families of other soldiers who were killed, whose funerals they didn't attend ?
I've researched this before, and have not found anything showing where any previous president has attended a common soldiers funeral.
Not Bush, Clinton, Bush Sr, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson, kennedy, esinenhower, Truman, roosevelt.

So you think that Lincoln attended the funeral of hundreds of thousands during the civil war? Or that Roosevelt attended all the funerals of the thousands that died on D-Day alone?.....Note you would do well in life to research a subject a little befor you come to a conclusion, try using logic, if someone makes a claim,,,,think, does this make sense befor you buy it hook line and sinker....that will help to make you look alot less stupid in the future

ok, what one Republican says can not be generalized to all Republicans. If I cared adequate, i'm particular i ought to locate some expenses from pagans and use that to assert all pagans have faith such issues and you may at as quickly as suited me. comparable to that, i do no longer think of you are able to say previous a doubt that any pagan could have faith this-this-and-this on the matters. you may, yet i'm particular no longer each and every pagan does, in basic terms as no longer each and every Christian feels a similar way approximately matters. If a pagan ran for President and his or her perspectives on the matters and plans to be sure the matters extra heavily matched mine than the different candidate, particular, i could vote for that individual. even regardless of the undeniable fact that it somewhat is kinda silly and extremely presumptuous to make blanket statements like various pagan could be a good President.

If any President were to attend funerals, it would be an all out Media Frenzy. Not proper for the deceased or family.

Gee, too bad your information is faulty.
Bush has attended many military funerals for casualties of the current unpleasantness.
So, why not stop your rumor-mongering and trolling, and do a little research before you spout off your lies.

Should he attend everyone? Being former military, I feel that a funeral is for the family and any Presidnet that would show up would cause a medi circus. Not appropriate.
