There are several reasons this could be happening to your bully. One reason is an allergy. He could be allergic to somethig in his environment, or to his food. Are you feeding him a high-quality, nutritionally complete food? Allergies can become an issue at any time, even if he's never displayed any symptoms in the past.
It could also be a mild, staph-like infection. Worst case scenario, it's a form of mange.
There are several things that you can do, including feeding your bully a high-quality food (Royal Canin Bulldogge 24 is awesome!), providing a supplement (like Lipiderm, or even by adding a small quantity of Mazola Corn Oil to his food - our vet recommended this to us. It's dispensed by weight, and provided of course your pup isn't allergic to corn!) to introduce extra Omega acids to his diet, applying an antibiotic ointment or an antihistamine cream to the affected areas. He may even need an allergy shot!
Has your pup been to the vet? If not, take him in. Your vet can recommend a new, prescription food for him if necessary. He can also let you know if he needs a prescription or something over the counter to help him out. I don't recommend adding anything to or changing his diet in any way until you've talked to your vet -- you know how sensitive bullies can be, and it's not worth the risk.
Good luck - and scritch that puppy's ears for me!

Depends on a lot of things. Bulldogs are prone to allergies and skin conditions. But fleas, ringworm and even anxiety can contribute to bald spots.
It's best to talk to your vet.
When did you notice the bald spots.
Are they weepy, itchy, scabby, smelly etc.?
Has he had them before
Has it rained a lot (or been excessively dry) in your area recently?
What are you feeding him and have you changed anything regarding his food lately - time of day, amount, brand of food etc.?
Does he go outside more - and is it on pavement, bare dirt or grass?
Has your work schedule changed?
How old is he?
Anything else that may be unusual?
See, the more good info you can give your vet, the better his diagnosis will be - and the more successful his treatment.
Good luck.

I have a bull dog. You need to get it to the vet... not only can they have allergies and skin problems, but it could also be a yeast infection on the skin. Bulldogs have very greasy skin and if you do not take care to clean the wrinkles daily, they can develope yeast infections. Skin allegies and food allergies could also be the problem as well as mange, but only your vet can help you with this one.

This sounds like demodectic mange. This usually happens to younger dogs, but I think you should take her to the vet to make sure. Once treated the bald spots tend to take quite a while to grow back, so be patient. Good luck.

Prone to skin problems as a breed. See your vet, could be demodectic mange, hot spots, or food or flea bite allergies.
My money's on the mange.

Get the animal on a quality food as this will help boost the immune system and give it what it needs for healthy coat & skin.

Instead of asking on Yahoo! Awnsers, you might wanna see a Vetrenanrian, it might be a cause of the following though,
Ticks
Skin infection
Dandruff
Dry skin
Good luck, and tell your bulldog to get well..

Bald spots can be caused my mange, chewing, hotspots or a number of things. You'll need to take him to the vet ASAP. If whatever he has is making his hair fall out, just imagine what its doing to his insides!
