It's not going to happen. We can pull out our troops and then the Shi'a and Sunnis will fight, Iran will try to move in, backed by Russia, Al-Quida funded groups will also try to get a chunk, along with Hezbollah.
Shri'a Law will be imposed like it is in Iran and all non-Muslims will be forced to convert or die. (Kurds and Coptic Christians).
Iran is being backed by Russia, and President Amademajad has sworn to destroy Isreal. Former Isreali president Benjiman Netyn Yahoo has stated on US TV if Iran attacks Isreal will take out the entire region. We (US) are allies with Isreal. Saudi Arbia claim to be our friends but they are the #1 funders of Al-Quida.
We can't really pull out without big trouble. We will probably pull back some but leave a military presence.
Think about it, after we defeated Germany and Japan we set up bases there and they are still there to this day.
This is a problem that will never end, it's be going on for thousands of years already.

When Jesus Christ comes back, and this is supposed to be soon, that will be the day of the final judgement, those that lied, did the wrong thing and were dishonest will pay the price in hell for eternity. Those that didn't will spend eterninty in heaven. The war in Iraq was never a war, we had more power than they did, we had more experience, we destroyed them. Right now our actions are policing type actions. Lets face it they never had a chance against us.

When there is a functioning Government in Iraq providing the needed security and infrastructure support so that people who left the country will start to return.

Or

When the Iraqi Government asks us to leave.

One or the other will occur about the time that Bush leaves office and the new president comes in. 20-24 months.

2-3 years after dems take office... They cannot pull out immediately. If they do, and anything happens... OUCH, they are done. Dems must protect their positions as well. After pullout the war on terror will continue on for years and years afterward, only in a different theater (global). Sorry, it will be a fact of life.

Once we pull out, the emphasis on the premise that terrorism is not acceptable, will have come to a halt. Result... terrorism is acceptable in certain situations.

When one of two things happen!
1. the elected government that wants us there, no long needs us an asks us to leave; or
2. We firmly believe that the Iraqi Army that was trained by us can take over and protect the fledgling democracy that the people elected and we bring them home!

never.. and if it ever ends in iraq, they will say they terrorists have moved to another country and we will go through the same thing in a different country... I don't know why people don't see this.. we need to protect our country, but not worry about all of the other countries in the world which will live how they want to no matter what the usa does..
