I have Acrobat Pro, but the only thing I can spell check are comments. If Acrobat can recognize text in a PDF, why can't it perform a spell check? Is there another PDF viewer than can do this?

I know I can export the file to Word and do a spell check there, but this seems like an extra step. I want to check for spelling within the PDF itself. Thanks.

I believe adobe reader performs spell checks or is that adobe acrobat, the full version
actually even the free adobe reader 7.0 8.0 + performs spell checks, maybe even lower versions

I see what happened i used a pdf that was editable

U can spell check things u enter in editable fields, but u cant spell check the actual pdf itself

Also a pdf can be sent to u that does allow u to enter items into fields. I have one right here.

A PDF is a final file, usually. I think they assume you're going to spell check iit BEFORE you make the PDF... sorry my answer isn't much help

Adobe Reader is for sure the best PDF reader software!
I downloaded it for free here http://bitly.com/1sxSJrm

With this program you will be able to open all the PDF files very easily and quickly

No such thing I know of, the whole idea of PDF is that everything is embedded into one single unit, so they are not suppose to be broken down . even though you can copy / export to Word, within a PDF, I dont think so.

"Acrobat is a display medium only. You need to get the original source file and spell check that with the program that created it. Then recreate the PDF document."
