As far as I know it's fine...mine LOVE peanut butter! They can't have grapes or raisens, so no PB&J!
Per my vet and many leading animal experts; feeding your dog human food is fine as long as it's healthy (example; not just steak fat, etc) . I feed mine green beans and they love 'em.

Dogs can safely eat almost all people food--dog food is just ground up meat, rice, corn, etc, that is formed into kibble and dried. There are a couple of things, like onions and grapes, that dogs shouldn't have, but for the most part, it's OK, including most nuts. Dogs LOVE peanut butter, and that is just ground up peanuts. To answer the person above, where would dogs get nuts in the wild--nuts grow on trees, fall off trees, and land on the ground, where animals like deer, squirrels, chipmunks, etc., eat them. Dogs could, too, I guess. My dogs eat acorns, and they're really just oak nuts. You can always do a websearch for dogs eating nuts and see what pops up. Good luck.

My vet recommended me to get a Kong toy for my dog and put a little peanut butter inside. She said in moderation. I am not sure about other nuts. Maybe a little is fine.

Actually, dogs can have people food including peanuts. You don't want to give them too much for the same reasons you don't want too much. Pretty much the only things dogs can't have is chocolate, onions, or cooked bones. Everything else like meat, veggies, and fruits are all okay for your dog to eat. What's good for you is good for a dog too.

I don't see why not, it's not like candy or chips, nuts are hearty not unless he's allergic, always ask a vet if you are not sure of anything, but i think nuts would be a great snack for a dog.

Most types of nuts are safe for dogs EXCEPT macadamia nuts...but then I keep those to myself! yum!
Just give in moderation; many nuts are oily and too many could cause the dookies.

I know that if my dog eats any kind of nuts - even boiled peanuts - it upsets his stomach and gives him gas. So I don't feed him any after that experience!! Whoo...
Corn does it too...
