Not a brain tumor but it could be a cyst or hematoma. Have a vet take a look.

Brain tumors do not extend outside the skull.

It sounds to us like your dog got a nasty crack on the head. Just to be safe, get your dog to a vet and have the skull x-rayed; this will reveal if there is any fracturing of the skull, and if there is blood (hematoma) pooling under the injury site.

Also, watch for signs of "concussion": if the dog looks dazed, wobbly, or falls asleep and cannot be awakened easily, get the dog to a vet immediately. For the rest of the day, check on your dog every few hours to make sure it's all right.

I would not think it's a brain tumor, but I'm not a vet. I would make an appointment and get the little one checked out by your vet and go from there as to treatment.

Sounds like a sebaceous cyst... take your little guy to the Vet for an exam. It is hard to determine whether your dog has a brain tumor without checking him out. However, by your description it is highly unlikely it is a brain tumor.

Again, why do people come to Yahoo asking questions on their animals that they know that something is wrong and yet let the animal be in pain, or whatever for days on end and don't think to use common sense and to call the vet?

Please call the vet and make an appointment.
