Try going to a funny movie, with people you enjoy being around. I hope you get to feeling better. That Depression stuff is rough.

Do somrthing you like doing that u enjoy and the reson why u are depressed, if it is over something u can fix get to it if it's not see a shrink before u decide to kill yourself.

be optimistic and try to do this that would be fun. if you keep thinking about depression you will stay depressed. also stay away from things/events that make you depressed : alcohol, people, death, tragedy. Don't even think about those things. do things you enjoy.

talk to your family doctor about how you are feeling. He/She may decide you should be on antidepressants. In any case you can just talk to him'her to get somethings off your chest. it may help you understand why you are depressed.
