You need to be careful how you explain this -- it makes me think you think the dog is actually being aggressive. She's 4.5 months old, and she's mouthy. Siberian Huskies should not be "protective" and they should *never* be aggressive, but they can't be very tactile -- they use their mouths and paws a lot in play.

She doesn't "bite" people she just met because she doesn't feel comfortable with them...she's only mouthing and biting people she knows.

I agree with the others who have said that this is a pack order problem. If she's mouthing children, she's treating them like other puppies and you can't have that as she gets older/bigger.

I highly, HIGHLY suggest that you get this puppy into a beginning obedience or puppy obedience class, with a trainer who can demonstrate the proper techniques, rather than people trying to explain them in writing here. She needs to learn "Off", she needs to learn "Leave It", and training her in basic obedience will help clarify who is in control in your household.

Pinning her down will only make her think you're playing, and obviously the spray doesn't work. She needs obedience training. If you have very good timing, you can take her muzzle, look her in the eye, and tell her to knock it off -- but frankly most people don't have that kind of timing if they haven't trained before.

Seriously. Look into obedience classes at your local dog training club, dog training businesses, or even PetsMart. Siberian Huskies require a definitive pack order, and they MUST have obedience training.

You must correct the behavior right when it happens, even sometimes right when you know that she is gettting ready to bite. You can give her a correction like Cesar Milan does, by giving her a slight touch that resembles a bite and make a sound that the dog will end up understanding that means to stop what she is doing. You have to become the pack leader and show her that you are in charge all the time, if she senses that you aren't in charge she will take charge and do what she feels that she needs to do in being the pack leader.

This dog needs some obedience training and some firm corrections. Get this dog into some obedience classes and make sure to find a knowledgeable instructor that can help with your problem.
Take the dog out with a muzzle to deter this behavior and you should use a prong collar on this dog. When the dog starts to go after anyone give her a pop and tell her to leave it, then release, repeat if she does it again. When she is behaving appropriately praise her. Biting should never be tolerated.

You and everyone who is around her is a member of the pack. She is testing her boundaries in order to find out what position she is in the pack. Sprays don't work. You need to place yourself in the position of pack leader and every time you pup growls or bites another person then make your hand like a claw, push her to the
ground, hold her there on her level, and growl the word "no". My boxer pup had the same issues. I tried everything and then I asked my trainer. You'll have to do this every time she acts up, but it's well worth the time. Good luck
Push her from the neck area.

Dogs are like children, but don't truly understand what we are saying they only associate certain tones with what your asking them to do.

So next time they bite put the husky in a seperate room, alone.
So they know they have done wrong say no loudly and clearly. Then close the door til they calm down.

I haven't got a dog so not sure weather it will work. But I saw it on TV with a Alaskan Malamute and he was alot older, so the younger you teach them the less of a pain they will be.

My husky mix had this problem for nearly a year. Be patient, it's probably a puppy thing. Keep lots of things around that are ok for her to bite/ chew on. Immediately give her a chewy toy when she mouths you.
My baby is now four years old and NEVER bites or teethes now.
It takes much time and patience, hope things work out for you!

She needs exercise and a good training class.

In the meantime, redirect her. When she bites, tell her no and give her something acceptable to chew on.

If she continues, put a drop of tabasco sauce on her tongue. Pretty soon she'll get the idea.

Be consistant with training. If she bites someone and they say, "Oh, it's okay" tell them it's NOT okay.

Don't play any "mouthing" games with her. No tug of war or anything like that. It only encourages the behavior.

i used to work in a vet and this breed needs control you need to before she bites and causes some serious damage try putting a muzzle on her hold her by the Collar and "growling" in her face make it known YOU are top dog not her this breeed can be very dominating to failing that lay on her with enough weight to prevent her from moving but not to hurt her. dont release her till she is calm.

Well. It is going to be really hard because Huskies are very protective of their owners. But you should try Disciplining the dog.
